A bunch of visual website elements are broken. What happened?!

All of a sudden the planet banner at the top, the "no new posts" icon (yellow star), and the "post new thread" button are not showing up. What on Earth happened to them? They were working fine last week. I checked to see if my adblocker was blocking them, but it isn't. Hopefully, I'm posting this to the right section, as I had to dig deep into my browser history to find the "post new thread" page.
